Hi Andreas,
Quite an interesting approach, using mindmaps to help with learning to read and write in Thai.
I am also starting the journey to learn Thai and, as I tend to be quite logical and visual, this type of information could help me speed up the process.
Would it be possible for you to share the diagram and mindmaps you have come up with for me to use or even contribute to.

Hi Trevor. The size is set to 580 for layout reasons. If you change that, chances are layout (and maybe widgets) will break form. If you do go ahead with the change, you should also change the associated JavaScript on the post page. /Andreas

Hi Sam. Sorry for the late reply. You shouldn’t need to do anything else apart from what you’ve already described. One thing though: when you say the image doesn’t appear in the post, _where_ is that exactly? On the post edit page in your dashboard or on the published post? /Andreas

For anyone else in the future with this issue, it seems to be caused by

$content_width = 580;

in the Theme-options file, for now I’ve removed this line, seems to have solved my media sizing issue.

Am I going to run into any major problems by removing the content width description?

Hi Andreas,

Love your theme, but I’m having a weird issue with image sizes; despite changing the media settings I can’t get an image larger than 580px wide for “large”
I’ve tried adding custom sizes to the function.php as well as using the Simple Image Sizes plugin. My custom sizes show but always as 580px wide. Any ideas?
Does Protean constrain media sizes somewhere other than the functions.php file?

Hello Andreas,

The theme looks like it should be great, but I don’t seem to be able to add banner images for any of the posts. Whether I upload a new image, add an existing image, or link an URL, the image doesn’t show up in the post. Is there something else I need to do?

Hi Andreas,

Sorry, I may have been unclear… pages have a grey banner when they appear in the search results. The page title is also grey and therefore not readable…
